Humble beginnings are often a great indicator of someone’s character.
In the case of Matt Spagnola, they certainly are.
Matt was born and raised in nearby Amsterdam, NY. He grew up in a household that supported each other through everything. His parents and sister Rebecca, who refers to him as “baby brother,” instilled great values in him from a young age, leading to his success professionally and personally. They also encouraged him to look for new opportunities and not to fear risks. This helped give him a go-getter and ‘can do’ attitude.
After attending the University at Albany, Matt worked in the technology industry before getting involved in the hospitality business with his father Louis, in which he taught him to be crafty and innovative. His mother Donna told him at a young age to be respectful to others and just be yourself.
From his upbringing to current role as a business developer and networking advocate, plus a sports enthusiast. It’s clear that for Matt Spagnola, family is everything. His story is one of work and work shaped by the values of his family.
Yet, despite his success, he remains humble, always putting his loved ones first. Matt is thrilled to join ZD Racing with business partner and great friend Robert DiPippo, along with Hall of Fame trainer Nick Zito. Together they will continue to build and expand ZD Racing.
Matt currently resides in Saratoga Springs, NY. In his free time, he not only enjoys horse racing and all major sports, he’s a big advocate of the traditional Italian Sunday dinner with family and friends.
